Managing the issues regarding Medical devices has been trasferred from the National Agency for Medicines to The National Supervisory Authority fr Welfare and Health on 1.11.2009. Function of the Valvira is to monitor the compliance of medical devices with the legislation and regulations and to promote their safe use. Managing the issues regarding Implant register has been trasferred from the National Agency for Medicines to The National Institute for Health and Welfare.
